What's New?

A new system setting, parserOverwritePrevention, is now available. When enabled, the resume parser will be prevented from overwriting any field that already contains data. For Categories, Skills, Education, Work History, and Certifications, the parser will append newly parsed data to the existing values rather than skipping them entirely. This setting applies to all forms of parsing, including manual drag-and-drop parsing, parse as existing, and automatic resume parsing via email.

Why Does it Matter?

This gives you greater control over your candidate data by ensuring that resume parsing only adds new information, leaving existing record data intact.

How Do I Enable This?

This setting is automatically available to all ATS customers. To enable it, go to Menu > Admin > System Settings and filter for parserOverwritePrevention. Set the value to TRUE to enable it (it is set to FALSE by default).
